This is seriously the simplest side dish recipe for your taco night.

What you need:

-1 Can refried beans [This is the base of the recipe.]
-1/4 Cup sour cream [This will make your beans creamy and smooth]
-1/4 Cup diced green chiles [This is where the bulk of the flavor comes.]
-1 tsp. cumin
-1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
SUPPLIES:
-Small sauce pan
-Measuring cups
-Measuring spoons
-Spoon for stirring
How to make it:

- Gather and measure out your ingredients.
- Mix the ingredients together in a small sauce pan and turn the heat to low.
- Cook on low for about 10-15 minute or until heated through. Make sure to stir regularly so it doesn’t burn to the bottom of the pan.
- ENJOY!

Tips:
- This recipe is great as an appetizer, a side dish, or smothered inside a burrito or quesadilla.
- You could easily double this and keep it warm in a crockpot for events or parties.
Notes from the homestead:
In this recipe I use home canned Anaheim peppers that we grew in our garden. I use these canned peppers every time a recipe calls for diced green chiles.
