Easy All Beef Meatloaf

This meatloaf is the perfect week night dinner recipe! So quick to mix up, and with ingredients you likely already have on hand! An easy family favorite for sure! And no partial package of sausage needed!

What you need to make Easy All Beef Meatloaf:

For the Meatloaf:

1lb. Ground Beef (ours is 90/10)

1/3 C. Milk

2/3 C. Bread Crumbs

1 Egg

1/4 C. Ketchup

2 tsp. Onion Powder

1 tsp. Garlic Powder

1 tsp. Salt

1/2 tsp. Pepper

For the Glaze:

2 TBSP Ketchup

1 tsp. Mustard

1 tsp. Worcestershire

Supplies:

  • Loaf pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons
  • Small bowl
  • Spoon

How to make Easy All Beef Meatloaf:

Step One:

Preheat oven to 375f. Grease loaf pan. In a medium sized mixing bowl measure out all of the ingredients for the meatloaf. Mix ingredients with your hands until well combined. Be careful not to over work the meat or it can start to get tough.

Step Two:

Press the meatloaf into loaf pan. Use your hands to press it out until it reaches all edges of the pan and is flat across the top.

Step Three:

In small bowl combine the ingredients for the glaze. Mix until well combined. Pour the glaze over the meatloaf and use the back of the spoon to spread it until the top is cover and mostly smooth. Bake for 30-45 minutes or until the center reaches an internal temperature of 165f.

Tips:

If you have a larger family this recipe would be so easy to double. You could still use one loaf pan, just increase the baking time.

Notes from the homestead:

Because we raise our own beef, after we take it to the butcher we always end up with a TON of ground beef. I try to use 1-2lbs per week to make sure we are getting through it in timely fashion. It’s an added bonus that this recipe also takes an egg, because we always have plenty of those from our hens also!

Our hot honey diced sweet potatoes would make a great side dish for this recipe!
