Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 3/4 cup quick oats
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup plus 2 TBSP of all purpose flour
  • 1tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla
  • 1 TBSP Molasses

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line and 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Melt butter and allow it to cool for roughly 10 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Mix until everything is well combined.
  4. Spread evenly into your prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake 30-35 minutes or until the edges are set and the top is a rich, golden brown. The center will still be a bit jiggly. Be careful not to overbake or they may turn out dry.
  6. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 1-2 hours or until it reaches room temperature.

1 Cup plus 2 Tablespoons all purpose flour

1 Tsp baking soda

1 Tsp cinnamon

1 TBSP Molasses
